To score more marks in maths you should have understood the steps involved in it. it is the first step to learn maths then you have to list out the formulas in your complete syllabus separately  

    * write the formulas in the front pages of your maths notebook.

    * read the formulas twice a day at the morning when you wake up.

    * read the formulas in the night before going to sleep 

    * by doing this you can learn the formulas within one or two weeks

    * when you complete your formulas write  it once without seeing

    * next step is to attend the classes be concentrated on the class 

    * by that you can understand easy steps and common method by that you can solve more problems

    * when you go to home practice it by a different method which you know

    * to solve maths there are plenty of methods make sure that one or two methods

    * so if you have any doubt in the answer you can do that problem in other methods to confirm your answer
    * practice the example questions are given in the textbook
    * it is necessary to learn the example questions because of question paper setters most probably choose the questions from it
    * solve the sums how much you can solve per day.
    * practice the sums before teacher solves in the class
    * so that you can clear your doubts with your teacher
    * prepare for the previous year question papers so that you can get ideas about the question pattern

    * solve the modal question papers and do correction with your friends
    * then you will get the idea about preparation for the examination
    * don't use the calculator while practicing, by that you can do better without using the calculator
    * make a time table for the preparation and keep it  with you
    * this makes you study in a proper method
