This is Amazfit new smartwatch not yet launched in India, but already launched in China, price is around Rs. 14,500 approx but few days back it was available for approx Rs. 11,000 to Rs. 12,000 during pre-bookings In this Blog I am going to unbox, talk about features and performance keep watching.... Hello I am Shashank and this is Amazfit new smartwatch it is called Amazfit Verge if you are already using a Amazfit smartwatch this is a really good upgrade option this is the box pack almost similar to as seen on other Amazfit watches Specifications in details giving on the box This watch features a AMOLED screen, built in NFC This is Chinese variant global variant is not yet available, however you can use the Chinese variant more specs here in Chinese, 390 mAh battery Let me open this box packing have removed the cover this is the box will open this now inside you will find the Amazfit Verge new smartwatch from Amazfit if you have seen the Amazfit Pace / Amazfit Stratos this one is a lot different and more premium, will keep this aside and lets look for more stuffs inside the box same box packing style as seen on older Amazfit watches inside this box two sections inside in the left section there is this charging dock, you can charge the watch with this dock, comes with usb end, just place the watch on the charging dock match the charging points on the watch as well as on the charging dock and then push to lock, after this you can charge, Inside the box you will also get this user manual, since this is Chinese version so no doubt the user manual will also be in Chinese, QR code is also there well that's it inside the box

This is Amazfit Verge, looks a lot different from previous generations body is made of plastic, two color combination excellent build and finishing however the watch does not look that slim on the bezel there are 4 markings in orange, this gives a unique and classy look on the side there is this button also in orange, home written here There is Single button, plus this is microphone, this is how it looks from the bottom details mentioned in Chinese, there are 4 charging points, and there is heart rate sensor built in strap is made of silicon material soft, skin friendly, gives comfortable fit, textures on the bottom, and this is spring mechanism so you can easily replace the strap when need be The strap looks pretty good and blends well with the watch design mixes well it does not look like the strap can be separated, that is how the design looks so this watch looks much better than the Amazfit pace and Amazfit stratos, this is the buckle, am going to press and hold the button to switch on It is now on first time it takes a lot of time to start let me talk briefly about the Amazfit Verge specifications This watch is using Bluetooth 4.0 tech 4GB ROM( internal storage space) 512MB RAM, screen is 1.3 inches its a AMOLED screen , touch screen, really good and smooth touch response, resolution is 360 x 360 pixels if you compare the screen quality of older Amazfit watches the quality of this new watch is too good, much better since its AMOLED, but, but, but the screen is not so much visible under sunlight in facet the older Amazfit watches screen looks much better under sunlight the default watch face on Verge looks awesome, screen quality is too good and the watch face matches / blends well with the watch design / color There is built in speaker and microphone and it supports voice input, but since its Chinese variant I cannot test, If you have used Amazfit Smartwatches, the controls / features are the same There is single button on right and screen is touch screen press the button this one to go to home screen or the default screen default watch face These are the menu options available, Text is in Chinese , but you can get a good idea looking at the icon So on this Chinese variant you can navigate with the help of icons, but looking / understanding what the icon is for in case you are not familiar with the icon you can use your smartphone download / install google translate, Chinese to English and choose camera mode use this way and see the live translation Chinese to English convert with this you will know what the icon is for and for next time remember it, If you are an Iconic person, can understand icons then it should not be that difficult to use this Chinese variant watch.

App is the same Amazfit smartwatch app download it, install it and add the device, just follow the steps, you will get all the details from the app your fitness activities, step count, calories burned, distance traveled, heart rate, watch can also monitor your sleep pattern, With this app you will get the info you need from the watch - in English There are many watch faces These are unique watch faces will show some watch faces later on will show some watch faces later on you can use app to setup content on the watch for example, heart rate and sports I have enabled and on the watch when I swipe from right to left, 1st will unlock, press button right to left swipe, there is heart rate, swipe again and here is sports mode These are the exercise modes this watch supports can track many activities, If you want to walk select the walk icon, tap within seconds it will start monitoring your walk activities it makes use of GPS too (has built in GPS) and continuous heart rate is also monitored. when using exercise mode, when you want to pause or stop, use the pause of the flag (stop) tap flag, you will get 2 options in Chinese , top option is cancel bottom option is okay you will get a hang of it bottom option is okay you will get a hang of it not so difficult to use you can use the app there are a lot of options there with notification option you can enable / disable app notification you can enable / disable app notification you can get the notification on watch You can get SMS, whatsapp, facebook , emails notifications you can get on the watch If you get a call, you get notification on the watch these are watch faces you can use app or change this way some watch faces are really interesting animation style, when in unlock mode it will be animated when in standby mode, either screen will go off or you will just see the time animation will not work in standby now it will go off and if twist this way the screen will switch on now there is no animation but after I unlock by pressing the button then it goes in animated style There are a lot of such , watch faces this is also interesting

This is gmail notification at the most I can view the title, I cannot read the full mail, for that I need to use the smartphone so somethings you will get on the watch for some you need to use smartphone so somethings you will get on the watch for some you need to use smartphone Now lets go outdoor Daytime when in standby mode, you can see the time twist little to see more details This is how the screen looks under direct sunlight At night the watch face goes off i.e. not always on as you can see under direct sunlight the screen is not that clearly visible on Amazfit pace and Stratos you can view the screen more clearly under direct sunlight on Amazfit pace and Stratos you can view the screen more clearly under direct sunlight But in room light this Verge screen rocks. There is mic and speaker, you can receive / make calls let me dial a number have pressed the call button, listen sound is loud this feature is really useful while driving This is Chinese variant and after update language did not change it was Chinese But by looking at the icons you will get a good idea about the options and the main details / data you can view on app and that too in English This watch houses a 390 mAh non-removable battery takes about 2 to 2.5 hours for full charge, and on full charge you will get 3 to 5 days of non-stop usage Talking about accuracy, this watch gives consistent results, Amazfit brand is already in India but this watch has not yet been officially launched in India however you can buy from GearBest now
